On September 2019, 4 Canadian journalists joined the project representatives to get to know the stuning islands of the São Jorge and São Miguel. They had the amazing oportunity to know those islands culture, while at the same time, understand the importance of the dairy sector.
The Press Trip provided the oportunity of the 4 canadian food media journalists, to visit the pasture habitat where the Azorean milk and cheese are produced. Also, a on-the-spot knowledge regarding the unique Azorean dairy production.
The Press Trip was held last September and lasted an entire week, where the guests had the possibility to know the main cheese factories, their farmers and listen to their stories, understanding the uniqueness of these cheeses.
During that week, the guests, also had the chance to go around the islands and taste their amazing more traditional food, which (obviously!) included their wide variety of cheeses in every meal!
