OUR SECRET

Our cheeses are from grass-fed animals that graze 365 days per year. Azorean dairy production is based on a free grazing system, with small farms and traditional methods to handle the livestock. This uniqueness is the secret to our high-quality, full-flavoured cheeses!

SÃO JORGE DOP CHEESE

A Protected Designation of Origin hard cheese, with a yellowish colour that is distinctive due to its region’s edaphic conditions, which originate pastures of different cultures that positively influences the quality of milk. Also, its production method, practically unchanged throughout the 500 years of its existence, promotes, the uniqueness of the product.
